What is SWEDISH MASSAGE?
• SWEDISH MASSAGE is the most commonly offered and best known type of massage. - • The term "SWEDISH MASSAGE" refers to a variety of techniques specifically designed to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returns to the heart.
- • SWEDISH MASSAGE can improve circulation, ease muscle aches and tension, improve flexibility and create relaxation.
- • SWEDISH MASSAGE is the foundation for other types of Western massage, including sports, deep tissue and aromatherapy.

What is HOT STONE MASSAGE?
- • The use of HOT STONEs for healing dates back to ancient times.
- • Today a classic HOT STONE MASSAGE uses smooth heated river stones that absorb and retain heat well used in combination with traditional SWEDISH MASSAGE strokes to melt tension away and ease aching muscles for complete relaxation.
- • HOT STONE MASSAGE is suited to people who tend to feel chilly or who have cold feet. It's also suited for people who have muscle tension but prefer a lighter massage.
- • The heat relaxes muscles, allowing the therapist to work the muscles without using deep pressure.

WHo is our SWEDISH MASSAGE and HOT STONE MASSAGE practitioner?
Gus Carmona-Ernst is a firm believer in the healing power of massage. Growing up believing in the power of nature and the individual, he understands and appreciates the great opportunity given to us to walk this earth. He believes that we are all connected to the world by constantly giving and receiving energy and that life is a wonderful gift. However, in order to enjoy life as fully as it is intended, one needs to fight an evil called stress. Unless we learn ways to relieve our bodies of stress, we are doomed to suffer from the inside out. Eastern civilizations have known this for centuries as they utilized massage to eliminate pain and stress.Gus received his B.A. from Mary Washington University. He then received his teaching degree from Immaculata University and a M.A. from West Chester University. He is presently employed as a public high school history teacher. Yet, Gus always dreamed of helping people cure their sicknesses but did not know how to go about it. After a few years of teaching, he decided to pursue one of his dreams by becoming a certified massage therapist. He attended the National Massage Therapy Institute. Gus is very happy to be of service at Bodylogic. He will help you recharge and rejuvenate your body, mind and spirit. Do not spend another day with stress; give him a call.
